CHRISTMAS 2009

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, and we all look forward to the New Year!! The kids had a blast opening presents!! I think these ages are so fun. They are all very excited when they find out that Santa actually found there house!!

Have you ever seen any one so excited about getting socks?  This was the only picture the camera MAN took of Gavin.  So socks it is!

And Gracie got her iPod that she was so desperately asking for!! Yes, I agree she is to young, but apparently Santa disagrees!! We love to hear her sing when she has her ear phones in, and no she doesn't hold back!

Isn't that priceless!! He asked Santa for anything, I don't think Santa could have went wrong at that point. Looks like he pleased this crowd! Way to go Santa!!

And last but not least, the gun!! Payson sat on Mrs. Claus' lap, he was afraid of Santa, and asked for an elk and a gun!! When asked why, he said "So I can shoot daddy elk." You can definitely tell he is a Daddy's boy!!

MY NEW DOG!!!!

Yes, this one is mine.  I fell in love with her from the time she was 2 weeks old.  I just loved her.  Jon picked his dog of the litter out, and unfortunately it wasn't the one I had fallen in love with.  Someone came and said that she was the one that they wanted, and yes me being an emotional girl started to cry.  It was at that moment that I realized I was extremely attached to that dog.  Well being the loving friend that he was and having the loving husband that I have, they said that she was mine and they wouldn't take her from me.....under one condition, I test her.  Well I agreed to just take her to the puppy test.  I am glad they said just test, and not pass.  So I feel like I am some what off the hook. So Cleo is my dog, and not Jon's!! She is so calm and so sweet she is not a normal puppy.  She lolly gags around the house, doesn't bite the kids or chew everything in sight.  She loves to lay around and cuddle.  Jon has his doubts, but I think she will be an amazing dog.  If anything she is the cutest little thing I have ever saw!! I can mold her into the perfect house dog (and hunting machine) she is almost potty trained and will sit on command!! I love her!!

YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!

You better not pout, you better not cry, I'm telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town!

MY NEW BABY......

Isn't she so sweet?
She is half the size of the others.  I have been taking her in 3 times a day to help her catch up.

She is on her way and doing great!! The kids are becoming attached. I just love feeding her the bottle.  Who said I needed more babies?  Jon's "babies" keep me very busy!!

My favorite thing about this baby is that when she is done eating, mom takes care of her.

HUNTING HARVEST 2009

The hunting season is officially on us (well it has been for a while). However, this is the first harvest that Daddy needed help cleaning.
The kids think it is so much fun to poke them. (Not for the faint of heart) EWW!
He is so happy to be holding Daddy's trophy.
You can tell the kids are so much help.
This is a picture of our future goose hunter. Isn't she adorable. I love her.
Here she is with all of her sisters. We had 9 girls total and 3 boys. I just wish they could stay this little!!

HALLOWEEN 2009

Here are my cuties!! 2 Grim Reapers, a "Princess" Vampire, and a cute little horse.
Since when did my little ones become so scary? We went to the ward party, which is a huge tradition in Bridgeland. However, no masks so the kids got to decide how there face was painted. Preston wanted black, I wanted white, so we settled on Red. Payson says "ohhh scary!!"
And my cute little horse. He is the cutest horse ever!! I am glad I still have one that wants to be cute and not scary.
Here they are getting ready to set off and go trunk or treating. The best invention since sliced bread!! Where else can you get your buckets filled in less than 30 minutes and be home before it gets to scary and cold outside? Now a funny story: Jon was at work when we got ready to go and he met up with us at the trunk or treat. I had him take Payson around while I handed out candy. He said this little boy kept following him. He asked a few people if they knew he was. He was talking to Jon here and there. Finally Jon says who are you and lifts his mask up, it was his own son, Preston. He was unaware of the mask he had. He was looking for the same kids that were at the ward party. Preston thought he was pretty funny and scary. Bless the hard working man. We love you Daddy!
The smile of complete satisfaction!! Happy Halloween, now we will prepare for Thanksgiving!!

MY LITTLE GIRL TURNED 6

As many of you may know my little girl, Grace Jolee Davis, a.k.a. Gracie, turned 6. She posed for a picture on her birthday. My only little girl, I was hoping for a barbie, princess, or some sort of "girly" birthday cake. No she had to have Transformers Bumble Bee cake.
That is her favorite movie and character. She watches it at least once a week. She wanted a Bumble Bee cake, but due to my lack of skill we just frosted it like Bumble Bee.
She got her very own digital camera, so she won't have to steal mine any more. It is so cute and fun. They have not put it down since we got it. For those of you wondering, it is a V-Tech Kidiezoom. I love all of the features and options. She can run it by herself. However, the picture quality is horrible. I haven't plugged it into there computer yet to see if it is just the screen, but if there is the slightest movement on the handlers part or any one else, it is so blurry. None of the pictures have been clear enough to even want to keep them. But they love to edit them and play with the pictures on the camera. If I find some time to download the pictures I will let you know if they are any clearer. I am sure they will still be blurry though.
Also the very popular Bedaroos. I am sure if your kid watched TV they have asked for these. Really cute idea, however not as easy to work with as they make them look. Just a few gifts I thought were worth sharing my opinion.
Here is Gracie with here Great Grandma Bonnie. Can you tell there related? It is no wonder where she gets her good looks.
For her birthday she wanted to take a walk to the river with the family. What is it with kids and throwing rocks into the water?
Cute, they found a tree that had fallen and posed for a picture. I think that Gracie is a little camera shy. She kinda scares me! Hope you had a great birthday Gracie, we love you!!

Gavin's Baptism

Gavin got baptized September 5, 2009. We are so proud of him and his choice.
So many family members came to support him, we really appreciate there support. It was great seeing all of you that could come. We missed those who couldn't make it.
Not too often we get all dressed up.
Great photos Evan and Dalana!!
They definitely fell off the same tree.
My handsome little boy. He is growing up to fast, but turning into a great kid. I couldn't ask for better!! We love you Gavin.

PAYSON, PAYSON, PAYSON!!!

First and foremost I am going to apologize for my MESSY house, was in SLC shopping all day, after talking my Mom to the airport:(.
We were at Wal-Mart buying Gavin some new underwear. When little Payson said "Payson want some." So we trek over to the infant underwear place and he picks out some Elmo underwear. Holds them in the cart the whole time and all the way home, and left them in the car and held them clear to SLC. He already loves them. So we get home from SLC and he decides he wants to wear them. I take off his diaper and put them on. He will not wear pants with them. "Just Elmo!" I let him run around in them. Thinking he is pretty cool. Then I put him in the bath and in PJ's. He and the kids are playing and I look over and this is what he has done! He thinks they go over his pants!! He was being a stinker and not letting me get a good picture.
As you can see he is not very happy. But who would be if your mom was talking these kinds of pictures, right?
I convinced him to let Mommy talk a picture. So he posed with a side view.
Then gave a back view. And that was it. I let him look at the pictures and decided they weren't good enough. So I said "let Mommy take a picture of your Elmo's." And this is what I got.......
Isn't he the cutest little thing ever?

GRACIE STARTED KINDERGARTEN!!

My little princess has started Kindergarten.
As you can tell she was really shy and scared.
I wish, she was so ready. She said she had been waiting for this day for a long time.
Isn't she so cute???

All ready for school!!
At least she did look back!! Preston really misses her. Payson likes that he has Preston all to himself. Oh the trouble they will get into!
